Cycle along el Saler and eat an authentic paella! (50Km)
This is a lovely bike ride along one of the most beautiful beaches of Valencia, through the nature of el Saler, along the lake Albufera and the endpoint of the cycle route is the small village ‘El Palmar’ where we will eat a lovely paella. L’Albufera/el Saler is a beautiful nature reserve with the largest lake in Spain. Around the lake you will find stunning rice fields. El Palmar is a small village, which paella restaurants are known to be some of the best in Valencia.
We will cycle from Valencia till el Palmar stopping on the way to have some snack, to enjoy the beach and to see the viewpoint of l’Albufera. We will have a lovely Pella lunch at el Palmar, rest a bit and come back cycling to Valencia (stopping again to enjoy a bit the beach before to come back to the city).
We will meet at Protected content Then we will take a cycle path towards Pinedo, el Saler, l’Albufera ending at el Palmar to have lunch.
LENGTH / TIME / DIFFICULTY
The route Valencia - El Palmar is 23 Km. Thus, the total route will be around 50 Km. The route is flat and very easy. Time will be variable depending on the amount of people and fitness state.

- Bicycle: no special bike requirements as the route is pretty easy.
- Comfortable sport clothes for cycling.
- Towel + your swimwear (if the weather is nice), having a break at one of the beautiful beaches is magnificent.
- 2 litres of water + some snacks.
- Sun-cream, Sun-glasses…
- Some money to buy a fantastic Paella menu at Protected content (Probably menu around Protected content .
