A Relaxed Afternoon in Ghent, Together With IN-Brussels
Hello Internations Ghent,
I’m Wouter, the new consul of Ghent Explorers Group, and I’d like to welcome you for a walk and a few drinks in Ghent, this Saturday October 18th.
Together with some members of Internations Brussels (Brussels Beer Group) we’ll spend a relaxed afternoon in Ghent, strolling through the historic centre and having a drink in some of the best bars in Ghent.
Meeting point: at 2pm at the Kouter square, in front of the music ‘kiosk’, where we’ll start our walk through the historical city center.
If you want to join us later: from 3.30 pm you can find us at blues bar Missy Sippy (Klein Turkije 16, next to the Saint Nicolas-Church).
Continuing our walk along the Leie River, we plan to arrive at jazz bar ‘Bar à l’aise (Verlorenkost 9) around 5.30 pm.
End of the activity: around 7 pm.
Those who want to stay longer for dinner have plenty of choice of restaurants nearby, in the Nederkouter street or elsewhere in the city center.
