Dublin´s Countryside at Your Doorstep: Walk & Pub Adventure!
Spring is on its way, even in Dublin! This May, we invite you to experience the unique charm of Irish country life at Protected content , one of County Dublin's hidden gems. Easily accessible by bus (lines C3 and C4) from various points in Dublin, this enchanting park promises a day in the country without leaving the city.
After a two-hour walk (suitable for all levels), enjoying the river, the lush forest, and the Irish hairy cows along the Fairy Trail, St. Catherine's Park, and the Woodland Trail, we'll have a well-deserved rest at Courtney's, a delightful traditional pub in the heart of Lucan Village with a nice patio beer garden. We'll have drinks, pub food, and chitchat to celebrate spring and make new friends. If you cannot make the walk, you can always join us at Courtney's around 14:00.
Don't forget to bring water and sunscreen. Perhaps we're overly optimistic about the weather, but dreaming is free!
The meeting point is Protected content (between 11:00 and 11:15).
How to get there: Take the C3 or C4 bus to Ardeeven Avenue (two stops after Lucan Village). There are also limited car parking facilities if you prefer to come by car.
