You could join from wherever you are, your home, your garden, your car, ideally from an elevated point, our signal should be heard all across Cork city 😌

Citizens band radio (also known as CB radio) is a land mobile radio system, a system allowing short-distance person-to-many persons bidirectional voice communication among individuals, using two-way radios operating on 40 channels near 27 MHz in the high frequency band.

Good for base to base, base to vehicle and vehicle to vehicle communications, poor for handheld. Mounting external antennas is highly recommended, which makes base usage better.

Once you are operating within the designed range for the radio, and with no interruptions or obstructions, you can communicate with a group of friends, associates, and family members for as long as you want all at zero cost.
