Sara, our Azerbaijani theatre-maker and educator, Robert and I are inviting you to our special dinner event dedicated to the Nowruz holiday known also as Spring Holiday or Persian New Year.
Nowruz is a festive holiday celebrated widely in Azerbaijan, Iran, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and some part of India between 20 and 21 of March.
In our event Sara will give an introduction to the history and conventions of Nowruz, we will play some holiday games and taste exclusive Azerbaijan cuisine.
