Weekend Getaway

Let’s spend weekend among history and nature. We ‘ll combine 3 visits during our short trip.
1)Saturday morning: La ruta de las caras in Buendía.
2)Saturday afternoon/evening: Cuenca
3)Sunday morning: Ciudad encantada

-The Ruta de las Caras literally translates as the Route of Faces, is both a hiking route and a sculpture park, through a series of huge rocks and mountains. The park is free, accessible to all. These huge limestone-cut sculptures are sure to both delight and impress.

-Cuenca, well-known with its hanging houses, is a medieval city built on a mountain overlooking the Huécar Gorge,. Only three of the hanging houses are left, each one is as splendid as the next. Crossing the Bridge of Saint Paul. Built in Protected content , the bridge is 40 metres high so if you're scared of heights, don't look down! we make our way to one of the first gothic-style cathedrals in Spain. Parador of Cuenca, a former convent, is right in the middle of the city.
The whole town was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Protected content .

-The Ciudad Encantada (Enchanted City) is a geological site near Cuenca, in which the erosive forces of weather and the waters of the nearby Júcar river have formed rocks into distinctive and memorable shapes.

- Fuel cost: 20€/pp
- Anyone is responsible for his/her accommodation in Cuenca.
- Drivers needed.
