Let's Grab Tea & Trek to Evergreen Brick Works to Explore!

Let's meet at Second Cup Café (midtown), grab some tea and snacks, and trek down a beautiful scenic nature trail to Evergreen Brick Works (via the Moore Ravine Trail)!

To access the trail, we will cut through the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (which is also an Abortorium). It is accessed by pedestrians all year.

If you are into photography, this is a great opportunity to capture some shots along the route!

Duration of the Trek:
The trek will take approx. 1hr (3.7km) and is suitable for those who hike at beginner levels. The terrain is flat. There likely will be snow and some slippery spots so I recommend wearing icers if you have them or very good boots (with a good grip).

At Evergreen Brick Works, we will explore the:
- Farmers Market
- Onsite shop (where they sell artisan goods and plants)
- Onsite Café Belong (now renamed Picnic) to grab tea & snacks
- There is also a wine shop onsite

Duration at Evergreen Brick Works:
We will spend 1.5hrs exploring the area (the market, the store, the grounds, etc.) and find a cozy spot onsite to connect before heading back.

I will have an activity that we can do to help get to know each other better. This is optional and will depend on the energy and make-up of the group.

Options to return include:
- Free shuttle bus to Broadview Subway Stn.
- TTC Bus to Davisville Subway Stn.
- Trek to Rosedale Subway Stn (approx. 30min.) 2.5km
- Trek to back up through Moore Ravine (approx. 1.15hrs) 3.7km
