"In the Jungle of Emotions" takes us on a journey through the dense, wild, and often contradictory terrain of our emotional inner world. From fear and love to anger and joy, Angela May explores the vast spectrum of human emotion.
Inspired by the metaphor of the jungle – a place that is hidden, chaotic, yet vibrant – she invites viewers to immerse themselves in this emotional cosmos.
Through bold colors, varied compositions, and experimental materials, Angela May creates visual spaces that reflect personal experiences, memories, and emotional impressions. The exhibition moves from expressive representations of emotions, through the deep imprints of trauma, and ultimately arrives at a visual engagement with healing and transformation.

Bio
Dr. Angela May studied pedagogy (teacher training) at the University of Education in Berlin and earned her doctorate in the humanities in Protected content the Technical University of Berlin. She subsequently worked for several years as an adjunct professor at the same university.
Her artistic development has been deeply shaped by self-taught curiosity and an engagement with art. Alongside her academic career, she repeatedly explored creative forms of expression, which ultimately led her to a consistent and coherent artistic practice. Through self-study and participation in various workshops, she learned different artistic techniques, particularly in the fields of abstract painting and mixed media art.
