17th April Women Empowerment Event (Addis Ababa)

On Tuesday 17th at 6.30pm, AIESEC Ethiopia together with the Italian Cultural Institute is organizing the first event of the I am Powerful project - project to empower underprivileged women.

The event will be hold at the Italian Cultural Institute.

The agenda of the event is the following:

-The role of Local NGOs in Women Empowerment - Aster Worku, Gender Consultant

-The role of media - Selam Ayalew, BBC World Trust

- The importance of education - Trish Hack-Rubinstein, fundraiser, & Muday Mitiku, Director at Fresh and Green Academy, school for street children

At the end of the event, a refreshment will be offered and the participants will have the chance to purchase beautiful handcrafts from underprivileged women to sustain their income
