TEFL Immersion Course for 2 months (Alexandria)

Hello everyone. I am interested in enrolling in a TEFL immersion course in Alexandria in the fall, and was interested if anyone could let me know if this is a terrible idea (or not :) It seems like things are relatively calm at the moment, but it has been a very stressful couple of years on the general population. This seems like the opportunity of a lifetime, but if the general overall environment is still extremely strained, it may be better to wait for a bit more stability.

It seems like there are conflicting reports where many people are advising to absolutely not go, and others have gone for (albeit shorter) stays and had no problems at all.
