Leasing/Buying a car without credit history (Atlanta)

Hello good people of Atlanta.

I am in process of relocating to this beautiful country in about a month or two. As you can imagine, there are N things that needs to be taken care of while you get settled in a new country.

My first worry is about transportation. I learned that without a credit history, it might be a blocker to get a car on lease here. Certainly this wouldn't have been a problem if I could afford paying outright for the vehicle :)

Any help around this will be greatly appreciated.
