Moving to NZ on a Working Holiday Visa (Auckland)

Hello All,

I have secured a one year working holiday visa in New Zealand, arriving mid November. I'm looking to meet new people and find a job while I'm there although it doesn't have to be in my current field. I am hoping to secure a casual job while I'm there and mostly explore and experience all the great things New Zealand has to offer.

I would appreciate any feedback or tips from anyone that has done this sort of thing before. I would also like to hear from anyone with general tips and recommendations for accommodation, where to settle, job information, best places to see, etc. Once I arrive I hope to attend events with fellow forum members to easily transition into this new experience.

I'm extremely excited about this opportunity and would love to hear from you all :)
