X-mas and New Year's Eve (Bali)

Hello,

I am from Germany and will be in Bali from the 12th of December this year till the 4th of January (for holidays).

Any events taking place during this time?
Or maybe some of you want to meet for a drink or dinner? That would be great. So far I haven't book anything, I plan to travel around with my rucksack.

I would also be happy if you could give me some tips on where to go and where to stay (not too expensive, homestays welcome) as it is my first time there.
