Moving to Bamako?

Hi everyone
I'm considering applying for a job in Bamako but first would like to gather some opinions about the living conditions as I have 2 young children (3 and 7 years old). It looks like there are 2 good schools (we're a French-American family so our kids are bilingual): does if anyone know them and has feedback on them?
What about health care: is there a decent pediatrician and could the hospitals treat an emergency?
Any other health conditions we should consider? Malaria? Respiratory infections?
Can you find a good house?
