Getting a TIE with a Non Lucrative Visa (Barcelona)

Hi all, Moving to Spain end of august with Non Lucrative Visa. My dilemma is that I originally wanted to come to Barcelona ( on my visa application ) but am thinking more like Alicante or Almeria. I am concerned that this will be a problem and would like to know if anyone has experienced something like this. I will be arriving through Barcelona and spend a few days at least but I think further south might be better financially. The gov site says I need to apply where I will be living but does that include temporary lodging ( as in AirBnB ) ? Also, it says that we must notify authorities of any move within 30 days. Any comments, suggestions would be appreciated. I've heard of people changing their minds and moving to a different city without any problems and others have called it a nightmare. Thank you
