Health Insurance for seniors Expat in Beijing ??

So far all that I have heard from people who are supposed to be in this field that there is no Health Plan available for people in their sixties. May be they are right, but I still unable to understand why ??

Would really appreciate if any one out there has any information on the issue that may help. It is not the visit to the doctor or the eventual lab work that concerns me. It is the major problem (god forbid) that worry me.
