Shipping of Personal Effects to China (Beijing)

I would really appreciate any solid information to help me solve this nightmare !! We shipped our USED personal affairs that we could not bring along with us on the plane to Beijing.

We did not bring any stuff like china, cutlery, or anything new. Just our used cloths, books ( Language) and personal items. The problem is, we paid "door to door " including clearing of custom and delivery to our home. The Agent in Beijing claims that he/she has no information and gave us a list of documents that we have to prepare.

Anyone out there had such experience or can help with some guidance ??
