How be able to work in the UK as a lawyer (Birmingham)

Hi everybody... I would love to have some help and info about what I am about to tell you:

Im a peruvian lawyer moving to Birmingham with my bf. So What sort of paperwork I should do if I want to work as a lawyer over there? I think my degree is not valid over there but i dont know where to start to be able to work what I have studied... Anyone who can give me some ideas where to start my searching would be appreciated.
