Living in La Macarena (Bogotá)

Hi all,
In a month I'm about to begin my first day as an expat in Bogota
I'm looking for a temporary apartment for the first few weeks before looking personally for a place for the longer term

The neighborhood that I so far liked the best is Chapinero
However, I found a really nice spot at La Macarena

1. Is it really dangerous in there compared to other neighborhoods?
2. In terms of distance - if I want to get almost every day next to calle Protected content my office probably will be) and back, sometimes even twice a day as I would like to go out at night, will it worth it? Is is really far and how much the taxis or Uber should cost me?
