new to bordeaux and not a clue (Bordeaux)

Hey,

I am moving to Bordeaux in September for my masters program. Most of the details are being take care of for us (housing, language courses, etc) but I was hoping someone who has lived here long enough could tell me whether I can find an english (or german, I'm not really fussed) driving instructor in Bordeaux? Ive been planning on getting my license done but I haven't been in the same country for more than a month for a while now and thus never had enough time to get fully into the learning mode. I was hoping someone may know enough about the driving school system in France to explain it to me and to help me out with this.
