Club of Poetry and Prose Writing (Bratislava)

Hello members of the Expat Community in Bratislava !

May I introduce you to the initiative below:
Within your community, and with the encouragement of the InterNations Community Engagement Team, a group of people interested in literature and creative writing is being formed under the name Club of Poetry and Prose Writing.
Participation in the club gatherings is offered primarily to those who write original creations of poetry or prose in English (though English is not a requirement). Beginners or advanced writers are all very welcome. As we go forward we intend to gain guidance from published writers (though we know publication is not the expectation of most of us!).
The true purpose of the meetings will be mutual encouragement and support for the expat community members´creative writing. On the one hand, by providing feedback and advice as part of constructive well-intentioned review, and on the other hand, highlighting the strengths of the presented works in written or spoken form. Last but not least, the members of the group will have the opportunity to present and recommend the works of their favourite authors, talk about their writing experience, influences and inspirations or personal experiences connected to them. Meetings will be pretty informal but at the same time sufficiently focused. They are to be held once a fortnight or once a month according to interest and circumstances of the members themselves.
