InterNations — A Community for American Expats in Cork

Hello to all Americans in Cork! Are you interested in getting to know fellow expats in Cork? Looking for advice from other Americans, e.g. wondering if there are any bars in Cork which will be showing your favorite baseball or American football team’s upcoming match or where to go in town for st■ turkey?

There’s no doubt about it: Cork is an up-and-coming city for expats. The second-largest Irish city is a traditional city known for jazz events and delicious cuisine, but also for being an important seaport, and much more! With the available rail network, bus services, bike shares, and road links, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in the suburbs such as Cleve Hill or Nemo Rangers, for example, which are both less than 25 minutes away from Cork’s center.

Although Cork has lots to offer, you might be wondering where and how you can meet other Americans in the city. Luckily, InterNations is here to make this easier for you! You’re warmly invited to join the InterNations community. Within our international network in Cork, there’s a vibrant circle of American expats from all regions of USA, including New York City, Los Angeles, and beyond.
