New expat in Denver within 2012

Hi, I am looking for advices to be successfull in my expatriation. My company will be located at Broomfield. I have 2 kids (3 and 9 years old). I would like to live in Denver. does it make sens? Can someone can tell me the school in which I can register my kids? how is the life in denver?
