Living in Dongguan

If you enjoy basking in the sun, Dongguan’s subtropical climate is ideal for those who love the outdoors. The city, to the south of the Tropic of Cancer, maintains warm temperatures the whole year round. Nevertheless, don’t forget to bring an umbrella. Expats in Dongguan will find that the plentiful sunshine is balanced with equal amounts of rain. Dongguan, though its focus lies solidly on the technological front, boasts a varied and interesting cultural history, with a number of city sights to reflect and explore this, such as the Opium War Museum, or the staggering construction of the Humen Pearl River Bridge. If you’re an expatriate who constantly craves new and different experiences, you’ll forget you ever had trouble with boredom. Dongguan is divided into 32 districts, each individual, each with its own personality and traits.
