cost of living and accommodation in Dublin

A friend received a job offer to work in Dublin (6 months contract maybe possibility to extend). She has two questions:

-is it difficult to find an accommodation in Dublin if you have a fixed term contract? we know that in big cities in France it is extremly difficult as no landlords or agencies are not willing to accept your application
-her salary will be Protected content gross per month. she is single and moving alone. is it possible in terms of accommodation and cost of living to live with that salary in Dublin? Thank you in advance for your kind reply.
