There are many implications of living abroad, since you have daily contacts with people with different cultural and linguistic background. This can be challenging, mysterious, appreciable, exciting, enriching or difficult.

Generally speaking, a better integrations is often related with geting familiar with language and culture of the hosting country, with patience, flexibility and curiosity. In this perspective, in the case of Slovenia and Ljubljana, Novi Trg / New Square is a very interesting place. In facts, between the National Library and the river Ljubljanica, there is the SASA, the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts: located in a pictoresque building with a great view on the castle, this institution hosts and organise many cultural activities in different fields.

Where you can learn also a very usrful expression as "Lep pozdrav" (in short LP), a very nice greeting. LP is the name of the bar of the SASA, location selected for our next Internations meeting: we will say "Lep pozdrav" to Winter and move on to the Spring season. See you on 20.3.2024 at 8 pm: be with us!
