There are places with a specific position in the collective imaginary of a population. Symbols of the popular culture, central elements of movies, songs, photographies, paintings and so on. Places, immediately recognisable at first sight.
Since the dawn of time, the human being has had the antropological instinct to reach the sky, to look up and to fly. This has impacted also the history and the development of our settlements.
For these reasons, the next Internations event will be meaningful at many levels. In facts, we will meet at Nebotičnik, the skyscraper, a places suspended between past and future, offering breathtaking views on Ljubljana. In facts, for long time it was tge tallest building not just of Slovenia, but also within the Balkan region. One of the most iconic and loved symbols of Ljubljana.
