In Pakistan, Sweet Eid of the Islamic
Month of Shawal is called Eid ul-Fitr. The celebration starts with the sighting of the new moon. On the day of Eid, people wear new clothes and offer Eid prayers in mosques or open spaces.
Eid al-Fitr is one of two major holidays celebrated by Muslims and commemorates the end of the holy month of Ramadan, in which Muslims fast daily from before dawn until sunset. Though it started on April 10th 2024 and will end on 12th April 2024 but as most of our members take leaves during long weekends so we have decided to celebrate it on April 18th Thursday.
All Members are invited to join us with family and friends.
