InterNations Baku Official Mafia Night Event

Mafia Game Rules

Players: 8–20

Roles: Mafia, Doctor, Detective, Maniac, Civilians (can also include optional roles like Host, Bodyguard etc.)
Role Overview:
Each night, players with special roles wake up one by one, in a specific order, and perform their actions.
Each role has its own “night” – a moment when they secretly act while others keep their eyes closed.

Night Phase (in this exact order):
1. Mafia’s Night – Mafia wakes up and silently chooses a victim.
2. Doctor’s Night – Doctor wakes up and selects someone to save.
3. Detective’s Night – Detective wakes up and checks if someone is Mafia.
4. Maniac’s Night – Maniac wakes up and picks one person to eliminate.

The Moderator guides each role and ensures no one sees others’ actions.

Day Phase:
• Everyone opens their eyes.
• The Moderator announces who (if anyone) was killed.
• Players discuss and vote to eliminate someone.
• The game continues with alternating night and day phases.

Win Conditions:
• Mafia wins if all civilians and the maniac are dead.
• Civilians win if all mafia and the maniac are eliminated.
• Maniac wins if only the maniac remains.
