This month’s gathering falls on a very spooky date: the night before Halloween!
As you may know, Halloween traces its roots back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people believed the boundary between the living and the spirit world grew thin. On that night, ghosts were thought to wander freely—definitely not the best time to be out and about alone in the dark!
Luckily, we’ll be safe (and well-spirited) together at Academia da Cachaça in Leblon, raising a glass in good company. Instead of fearing wandering souls, we’ll be enjoying Brazil’s most iconic drink, great conversations, and the warmth of our international community.
So come join us—before the veil lifts and the ghosts take over!
