InterNations Osaka: German Christians Market
End of the year is right around the corner.
Winter is here.
Umeda Sky Building
German Christmas Market is
a great place to enjoy this special
season.
There are vendors selling food, drinks
and souvenirs from Germany outside the building. The tree is lit with changing
decorations.
An area to meet Santa (I’m not sure if
we can meet on this day).
A big fountain and a little Japanese garden
with Koi fish in the pond.
B1 floor time capsule that takes you back
to old times in Japan.
Beautiful gardens around the building.
Floor 35 where you can enjoy the view for free.
Let’s meet in front of the Christmas tree
at 17:30 and decide where to go first until 18:00.
And take off at 18:00 to walk around.
In the meantime (between 17:30-18:00),
feel free to go look at the vendors around,
buy things that you like.
I personally am interested in the hot red wine.
(Although, I must warn you.
Everything will be pricey and the lines will be long. It can be a good idea to buy things
at the convenience store nearby first.
Also, it can be very cold. Because of the unique structure of this building it gets windy. Bringing warm clothes is recommended.)
Looking forward to seeing you
around the Christmas tree, outside
on the first floor of the building,
where the German Christmas Market is at.
