To open the new year, InterNations Suzhou has the pleasure to have award winning German cellist Claude joining us at GuSu’s very elegant venue Mercato Mediterraneo for a Cello Music Night. Claude began his cello studies in 1989.

As a soloist, he has performed in Germany, Italy, Israel, Jordan and China with various orchestras, presenting major works such as Haydn’s C and D major concertos and Sinfonia Concertante, Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations, Brahms’s Double Concerto, and Jean Francaix’s Variations de Concert. He was a first-prize winner at the German National “Jugend musiziert” competition, won top prizes at the Leipzig Music Academy and the Peter Pirazzi Scholarship in Frankfurt, and received a special prize at the 2005 Markneukirchen International Competition.

Along with the cello music, we will enjoy a Spanish feast in fly buffet style include but not limited to Roast Suckling Pig, Madrid Style; Spanish Seafood Paella……
