A Hike Up Kgale Hill (Gaborone)

A hike up Kgale Hill is one of the popular activities in Gaborone. So if you would like to join in, we meet Saturday or Sunday mornings at 630am (!).
The height of Kgale Hill is about 100m, and it takes about half an hour to reach the summit, where you will have a breathtaking view of the city, the dam, etc. There is usually a hilltop 'aerobics class' by the other climbers, between 630am to 730am, for those who are so inclined, feel free to join in :-)
Please bring water to sip on as its quite a workout climbing up! Its a lot of fun too!!! Sneakers can do, but if you have hiking boots, the extra grip will certainly help.

Parking is at the trailhead, at the entrance of the quarry by the foot of the hill, past Game City mall. You can't miss the parking lot, there is usually dozens of cars parked there between 6am and 9am. You will find plenty of people going up, so join right in, follow the trail, and do your own thing :-)
