Transportation to/from airport (Guadalajara)

Hi everybody! I live in Guanajuato city and am looking at flights out of Guadalajara in February. Does anybody know about the transportation network between here and the Guadalajara airport? I assume I could take a bus but I don't know if I need to make a bunch of connections or anything like that. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
