Short term rental Guayaquil -> Where to live

Hello,
My name is Marina, I am an engineer and I going to work in Guayaquil for Protected content starting middle February. The office I will work at is located at the mall Plaza del Sol.
I am looking for recommendations on which areas to search for a short term apartment there. Would you have any suggestions for me? I would like to stay in an area not too far from the office that also does short term rentals.
