1. Make the choice to be happy.
The biggest part of being happy is to simply make up your mind to be a happy person. It’s not about circumstances, it’s about choice. You can just choose to be happy by designing the beliefs / rules of your life to be :
- Achievable to feel able to meet your values
- Easy to feel good
- Hard to feel bad
Moreover it is not the events in our life that shape us but our beliefs as to what those events mean . If you give a positive meaning to an event in your life then you will feel happier than if you give a negative meaning . So in life make always the effort to find and give a positive meaning in what happens in your life
2. . Be grateful and appreciative every day.
We all have blessings in our lives. Take the time each and every day to appreciate yours, and your view of life will be one of gratitude. Acts of kindness, large and small, deserve recognition.
3. Let go of negative thoughts and negative people .
Don’t poison yourself by dwelling on negative thoughts. Your life reflects your dominant thought patterns, make yours positive. Like it or not, your attitude is susceptible to the dominant attitude of those around you. If they are negative, let them go and don’t look back.
4. Be considerate and polite with others.
Showing consideration is a way of honoring others. When you honor others, you honor yourself. It’s right to be polite and crude to be rude.
5. Eat healthy food and get regular exercise.
We all need to pay attention to our bodies and what we eat . Eating healthy and nourishing foods maintain a healthy body which is necessary base to be able to focus on our goals , bigger life purpose and other society contributing objectives . We all need to move and breath. Too much sitting robs you of the sense of being alive. Buy out time for exercise and you will feel better mentally, emotionally, and physically.
