Slow internet connection with PCCW (Hong Kong)

Hello,
I got PCCW internet set up in my apartment recently and I can't help but notice some website take a long time to load or don't load at all.

I have read that overseas websites tend to take longer to load in HK. Some of the websites I'm having trouble with loading are from overseas, but not all of them.

I did not experience this type of problem at the serviced apartment I was staying at before moving to my new apartment (perhaps they use a different internet provider).

Please let me know if there is a way to fix this.
