Kid friendly places and activities in Houston Area

Hi!
I often found difficult to find somewhere to go or do in Houston during the weekends with our 1 year old girl. Going to parks to take walks and malls has become part of our "routine" and once in a while we get to do something different; but I would like to do something different every weekend!
Does anybody here know any website I can check to find out activities and/or kid friendly places? and if we don't have to spend a lot of money in it it will be a PLUS!
