Salary advise (Houston)

Hi All,

I am asking for an internal transfer within my company to Houston, I am coming from Norway, so I have kind of lost the reference what is expensice, cheap, if it is a good or bad salary, cause here everything is expensive!. I am process engineer with 9 years of experience, which range of salary should I be? also it would help me to know minimum cost of leaving, lets say apartment, car and food as minimum..taking into account that I would like to rent on my own (single) if possible and no necessary in the center.
