Good area to live for single female (Istanbul)

Hi! I am a single female Asian (from Europe and the US) moving to Istanbul next month permanently (at least Protected content . I don't speak any Turkish and don't know the city well. I am looking for a save but yet vibrant and not too expensive area to live where there is also life around and it's not too difficult to go out. Looking for an unfurnished place as I will be shipping everything from DC.I will be working out of Beyoglu so easy transportation to the office and the airport are also important to consider.
