Pakistanis in Turkey (Istanbul)

Hi, my fiance is Pakistani and I was wondering how he would be treated in Turkey, Istanbul in particular. My sister was telling me that her friend (who is Saudi) said that Turkish people "look down on" Pakistanis and that my fiance would never find a job in Turkey. What do you think? I know not all Turkish people act the same way or feel the same way about a group of people, but could someone tell me what the general attitude is toward Pakistanis in Istanbul?
