Questions about living in Kabul

I have been offered a private sector job in Kabul and have a number of questions.

1. Would anyone be willing to share their estimate of general living expenses in Kabul? The university for whom I would be working provides housing, security, and a driver.

2. Did you have any trouble bring books or personal computer equipment into the country or with obtaining new books (paper or electronic) once there?

3. Any recommendations for things to be sure and bring would be appreciated.

4. For any single women out there, any special advice you would offer?
