Background information:
The film is a series of short films directed by rising Afghan filmmakers and produced by our Strategic Communications and Spokespersons Unit: Farhad Rezayee, Morawej Zada, Nasir Hashimi, Qader Aryaie, Aref Beria, Yasamin Yarmal, Sear Noorzad, Habibullah Sadaat, Ibrahim Sekandary, and Sayed Zia Qasemi.

The filmmakers were selected from more than Protected content to create a film that illustrates their love of their city and of their country addressing the issues that affects their daily lives.

The film project is inspired Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

The anthology weaves together ten contemporary short stories of love and life in a city living under the threat of war and moving towards an uncertain future. Filmed throughout Kabul from Shar-e-Now to Taimani, Tapae Naderkhan and Wazirk Abarkhan, the film depicts the experiences of residents whose love of the city is tested, shattered and reinvented.
