Malaysian Degree Attestation for UAE (Kuala Lumpur)

Hi everyone.

I need to get my engineering degree (from USM) attested for working in the UAE. Has anyone here, especially with a Malaysian degree, gone through a similar procedure? Would I need to attest my degree at UAE embassy and that's it, or must I get it confirmed by the university, then Ministry of Education, and finally UAE embassy? Been getting conflicting info here...

Also (a concern as a female), is there a strict dress code for visiting UAE embassy? Do I need to cover my hair, or normal office wear such as long sleeve shirt + slacks sans head covering is acceptable? I couldn't find any mention of it in their website.
