E3 Visa work restrictions (Las Vegas)

Hi guys,
I'm an OT from Australia looking to move to Las Vegas. I am eligible to apply for the E3 Visa, however I believe I need to get employed before getting the visa.
I was just wondering...
1.) is there anyone on this forum who has the E3 Visa from Australia
2.) Does anyone know if I can get sponsored through an employment agency and do temping/ locum/ contract work?
