Money - Money -Money (Lisbon)

I have been in Lisboa for just over two weeks and it seems to me that most people on this site are there to promote a business, them selves or make a euro or two. I am planning to move out here in September to spend what's left of my days and thought it would be nice to meet up with some more knowledgeable people but the forums I have seen just seem to be a opportunity to advertise and promote for free.
