Senior Financial Analyst Madrid (Lisbon)

Essential Duties and Responsiblities:
We are looking for a self-starter and ambitious senior financial analyst looking to make a big impact on a company that is investing globally to increase recycling capacities. The position is critical for the success as it will impact business performance by analysing data and transforming it into actionable business strategy.
You’ll develop financial modeling for costing and pricing, driving solutions for new business engagements in different geographies. Additionally, you’ll contribute for building a culture of cash excellence by supporting cash management decisions on inventory, payables and receivables, freeing up capital to finance growth opportunities. Finally, you’ll be engaged in budgeting for the short and long-term, and value-based management to support return optimization. All this will be possible through teamwork and relationship building, working closely with the the key interfaces in finance, operations, sales, technology, marketing, sustainability and people & talent.

Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
• Support the weekly and monthly financial reporting process, with agility, timeliness and accuracy. Build reports and dashboards, bringing excellence to data visualization and charting.
• Use data analysis to optimize performance across business functions ar Recover, leveraging on technology
• Support financial planning and budgeting process, use scenarios and statistical analysis for sensitivity and decision-making
• Develop financial modeling driving cost and price optimization, value-based management
• Support the buildup of a cash excellence culture through efficient working capital management, capex and opex monitoring and optimization.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Describe skills, knowledge, and abilities required to perform the duties identified above.
• Meaningful experience as a senior financial analyst: Protected content in an analytical role with proven impact on a global company’s performance
• Internally-motivated self-starter with ability to plan, organize, and establish priorities to manage multiple projects and achieve results
• Confident facilitator and communicator who can lead meetings and manage relationships with executive-level stakeholders and make recommendations for improvements in the business
• Degree-level education in one of the following: Economics, Business, Statistics, Industrial Engineering or other similar quantitative field
• Experience with MS Dynamics Protected content Power BI is a plus
