Moving + Appartment in London

Dear all,

I need you help and experience for two questions about LONDON and I'll be greatful if you can help me:

1) How can I move my stuff (boxes, furniture, bike, ...) from The Hague (The Netherlands) to London. Do you know guys doing that? any company?...

2) Do you have any good ideas where and how to find a non expensive appartment? close to Imperial college, so close to "Kensington" area, but I'm open to other locations as well.
