J-1 VISA (Los Angeles)

Hi all,

I am currently seeking to venture to L.A on a J-1 Visa. I haven't started the application process yet as I was hoping to get some possible feedback about the Visa process and living in LA (Ive researched it intensively but would like to hear from someone first hand). So if there are any Aussies out there who are willing to share some advice/feedback, it would be much appreciated.
