'Free Newcomers' Orientation Courses for Third-Country Nationals" In English Protected content Protected content
Dear AMCHAM Members and Friends,

Please help us to contact and register newly arrived Third-Country nationals (non-EU) residents of Luxembourg and encourage them to register and attend our free Newcomers' Orientation Course (see details below).

The courses will be held 12 times per year, with 6 courses in English and 6 courses in Portuguese. Register now for the course held in English on 20 February Protected content !

Many newly-arrived persons, accompanying spouses, and family members do not enjoy the benefit of a relocation package and are left to find their own way regarding administrative procedures and settling in to their new life in the Grand Duchy . Following the success of the first pilot courses held in Protected content , AMCHAM Luxembourg is pleased to announce the launch of “Newcomers Orientation Courses for Third-Country Nationals” as of December Protected content on: bureaucracy, your local commune, working life, day to day living, tax card, renting, utilities, phone and internet, TV, radio and the press, history, geography, politics, insurance, vehicles, driving and transportation, education, music tuition, health scheme, child allowance, culture, etiquette and customs, leisure and entertainment, shopping, expat organisations, sports, music, cycling, recycling, integration, etc.

These courses are organized under the auspices of and with the funding support of the “Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund” (AMIF) and the Luxembourg Reception and Integration Agency/Ministry of Family and Integration (OLAI). Due to the funding specifics, these course offerings in English and Portuguese are targeted for attendance by non-EU citizens, legally residing in Luxembourg. Due to the AMIF and OLAI funding support, we are delighted to be able to offer these 6 hour long Saturday courses free of charge. Our thanks to the Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg for offering the venue and to ING for sponsoring the lunches!

If you have never registered on the AMCHAM website, you will first need to register your personal details at the following link: Protected content . You will then be able to sign up for the course with your email address and password by clicking here.
